Starting/Stopping the Equipment
Before starting the marking operation, adjust the work distance accordingly.

Set the workpiece under the f
lens.

On the Control Unit, confirm that the
Ready indicator is lit.

Click the [Guide Beam] button on the
marking screen.
The [Guide Beam] button is displayed as
depressed, and the [Safety Shutter]
indicator is lit in green.
The guide beam is projected from the f
lens.

Adjust the work distance.
The work distance for adjustment is the distance between the f
lens and the workpiece.
The following table lists guidelines for this work distance relative to the f
lens.
7.2 Adjusting the Work Distance
This description applies to startup adjustments. Fine-tuning of the work distance may also
be necessary to match the workpiece material and characters or shapes to be marked.
