11.1.1 Input and Output Signals

Input Signals
Input format:Photo-coupler input
Input rating: 24 V DC

This signal is valid when “Remote” is selected on the control panel screen on a computer or via
RS-232C communication. Invalid when “Local” is selected.
*2 Stops all serial counters.
*3 This pin corresponds to the external emergency stop of our conventional model. This cannot be
used as the external emergency stop input which complies with IEC13849-1.
*4 Signals for individual counters can be enabled or disabled.

When closed, the RF unit and LD are activated, after which the LD

When closed, error output is canceled.

Stop serial counter

When closed, the serial counter stops counting up or down.

Input ACK to end carrier
operation
When closed, the end of carrier operation is checked and marking
operation is resumed.

Laser stop

When opened, marking operations are stopped and the LD goes out.
Inputting the error reset signal after closing clears emergency stop.
