When the unit is tuened off for long time during the winter season, it protects the start up failure by preventing the

refrigerant from soaking into the oil in compressor.

(1) Function

The pre-heat operation is conducted by the voltage input of 30W to the compressor when 3 hours have passed

since stopping compressor under the constant temperature.

The function for output of the base heater is valid only for heat pump type outdoor unit.
1) Output of the base heater

The base heater output turns ON when the outdoor unit is operated in heating mode under the outdoor temperature

lower than 3 C.

When the outdoor temperature becomes higher than 5 C, the crank case heater turns OFF.

The base heater shall be locally procured and the specification for base heater is AC220-240V, 35W.
