CA UTION
Before switching on this instrumen t, make sure that the line
v oltage selector switch is set to the v oltage of the p o w er supply and
the correct fuse is installed.
Alwa ys use the three-prong ac p o w er cord supplied with this
instrumen t. F ailure to ensure adequate earth grounding b y not
using this cord may cause instrumen t damage.
Before switching on this pro duct, make sure that the line v oltage
selector switch is set to the v oltage of the p o w er supply and
the correct fuse is installed. Assure the supply v oltage is in the
sp ecied range.
V en tilation Requiremen ts: When installing the instrumen t in a
cabinet, the con v ection in to and out of the instrumen t m ust not b e
restricted. The ambien t temp erature (outside the cabinet) m ust b e
less than the maximum op erating temp erature of the instrumen t
b y 4 C for ev ery 100 w atts dissipated in the cabinet. If the total
p o w er dissipated in the cabinet is greater than 800 w atts, then
forced con v ection m ust b e used.
This pro duct is designed for use in Installation Category I I and
P ollution Degree 2 p er IEC 1010 and 664, resp ectiv ely .
Note
The detac hable p o w er cord is the instrumen t disconnecting device.
It disconnects the mains circuits from the mains supply b efore other
parts of the instrumen t. The fron t panel switch is only a standb y
switch and is not a LINE switch.
