Swp Span Cal Once . V erify that status problems do not
exist (UNLOCK, UNL VLED, or F A UL T). An OVEN status message
will app ear on the message line if the sw ept signal generator has
b een disconnected from ac p o w er. This message will turn o
within 10 min utes, if it do es not, there may b e a problem. If a
F A UL T message is display ed, refer to men u map 6, Service, to
access fault information.
9. T erminate the RF output with a go o d source match (either
a 50 load or p o w er sensor). Press 4 POWER LEVEL 5. Increase
the p o w er lev el un til the unlev eled message is display ed on the
message line. Decrease the p o w er lev el un til the unlev eled message
turns o. Note the p o w er lev el reading. V erify that the sw ept
signal generator can pro duce maximum sp ecied p o w er without
b ecoming unlev eled.
This completes the op erator's c hec k. If the sw ept signal generator
do es not p erform as exp ected, ha v e a qualied service tec hnician
isolate and repair the fault. See \Service Information."
