The
co oling
fan
lo
cated
on
the
rear
panel
has
a
thin
foam
lter.
Ho
w
often
the
lter

cleaned
dep ends
on
the
en
vironmen
t
in
whic
h
the
sw
ept
signal
generator
op erates.
As
the
lter
collects
dust,
the
fan
sp eed
increases
to
maintain
airow
(as
the
fan
sp eed
increases,
so
do es
the
fan
noise).
If
the
lter
con
tinues
to
collect
dust
after
the
fan
reac
hes
maximum
sp eed,
airow
is
reduced
and
the
sw
ept
signal
generator's
in
ternal
temp erature
increases.
If
the
in
ternal
temp erature
reac
hes
90
C
the
sw
ept
signal
generator
will
automatically
turn
o
and
the
amb er
ST
ANDBY
LED
will
turn
on.
Clean
the
fan
lter
as
follo
ws:
1.
T
urn
o
the
sw
ept
signal
generator.
2.
Remo
v
e
the
ac
line
cord.
Note
The
detac
hable
p o
w
er
cord
is
the
instrumen
t
disconnecting
device.
It
disconnects
the
mains
circuits
from
the
mains
supply
b efore
other
parts
of
the
instrumen
t.
The
fron
t
panel
switch
is
only
a
standb
y
switch
and
is
not
a
LINE
switch.
