SCPI COMMAND SUMMARY
The coupling equations for p o w er sw eep are exactly analogous to
those for frequency sw eep. P o w er sw eep is allo w ed to b e negative,
unlik e frequency sw eeps. See FREQ:CENT for a description. *RST
v alue is 0 dBm.
POWer[:LEVel] <num>[lvl suffix]|MAXimum|MINimum|UP|DOWN
POWer[:LEVel]? [MAXimum|MINimum]
Sets and queries the output lev el. Default units and units
for the query resp onse are determined b y the UNIT:POWer
command. Maxim um and minimum lev els refer to the
lev eling mo de at the time the command is sen t. F or example,
*RST;POWer:LEVel MIN; ALC:SOURce MMHead has dieren t eects
from *RST;POWer:ALC:SOURce MMHead; POWer:LEVel MIN
After *RST, the v alue is 0 dBm.
POWer:MODE FIXed|SWEep
POWer:MODE?
Sets and queries the setting of the p o w er sw eep mo de switch. If in
the sw eep mo de then the output lev el is con trolled b y the start,
stop, cen ter and span functions. If in the xed p o w er mo de then the
output is con trolled b y the POW[:LEVEL] command. The *RST v alue
is FIXed .
POWer:OFFSet <num>[DB]|MAXimum|MINimum|UP|DOWN
POWer:OFFSet? [MAXimum|MINimum]
Sets and queries the p o w er oset. This function c hanges mapping of
absolute p o w er parameters on input to and output from the sw ept
signal generator. Changing this do es not aect the output p o w er of
the sw ept signal generator. Only the display ed parameters and query
resp onses are c hanged. The equation implied b y this is:

POWer:OFFSet:STATe ON|OFF|1|0
POWer:OFFSet:STATe?
Queries and turns the p o w er oset o and on. After *RST, the
setting is OFF .
POWer:RANGe <num>[lvl suffix]|MAXimum|MINimum|UP|DOWN
POWer:RANGe?
Sets and queries the setting of the p o w er meter range. This is used
when the command POWer:ALC:SOURce is set to PMETer .
POWer:SEARch ON|OFF|1|0|ONCE
POWer:SEARch?
Sets and queries the p o w er searc h switch. This has an in teraction
with POWer:ALC:STATe as describ ed b elow.
