Extended Numeric P arameters. Most measuremen t related
subsystems use extende d numeric parameters to sp ecify ph ysical
quan tities. Extended n umeric parameters accept all n umeric
parameter v alues and other sp ecial v alues as w ell. All extended
n umeric parameters accept MAXimum and MINimum as v alues. Other
sp ecial v alues, suc h as UP and DOWN may b e a v ailable as do cumen ted
in the instrumen t's command summary . Some instrumen ts also
let y ou to send engineering units as suxes to extended n umeric
parameters. The SCPI Command Summary lists the suxes
a v ailable, if an y . Note that extended n umeric parameters are not
used for common commands or STATus subsystem commands.
