Description
This softkey lets y ou set a frequency m ultiplier v alue and applies it to
all frequency parameters. An y in teger v alue b et w een and including
636 is accepted. Changing the m ultiplier v alue c hanges the display ,
it do es not aect the output of the sw ept signal generator.
F or example:
1. Set the start frequency to 4 GHz.
2. Set the stop frequency to 10 GHz.
3. Set the frequency m ultiplier to 5.
Note that the display indicates start=20 GHz, stop=50 GHz and
asterisks app ear next to the frequency data.
4. No w set the stop frequency to 30 GHz. The sw ept signal generator
frequency is 6 GHz, or 30 GHz 4 5.
F requency m ultiplier and oset are related as sho wn b y the follo wing
equation:
Entered v alue or Displa yed F requency = (F requency Generated 2 Multiplier) + Oset v alue
The factory preset v alue is 1. An asterisk next to the k ey lab el
indicates that this feature is active.
