Marker M5 function
iden tically . The softkey turns the marker o/on. When an asterisk
app ears next to the k ey lab el, it indicates that the marker is on, but
not necessarily active. A marker is only active when it is indicated in
the active en try area.
The active en try area displays the active marker and its frequency
v alue. Use the rotary knob, the ARR O W k eys, or the en try k eys to
set the frequency . Markers are display ed normally as Z-axis in tensity
dots, but can b e c hanged to amplitude pulses (
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
Ampl Markers ).
When a marker is turned o, the frequency v alue of that marker
is retained in memory . If the marker is reactiv ated, the stored
frequency v alue is recalled for that marker.
The frequency v alue of M1 and of M2 can also b e used to dene
parameters in t w o other marker features:
