002 Zone Type
Zone disabled 00
Each zone in a system must be assigned a zone
type, which defines the way in which the system
responds to faults in that zone. Enter the zone
response type for each zone. The screen will
automatically display the zone type for the number
entered. If a different zone response type is desired,
enter a different number and press

to continue.
Zones 1-8 can be assigned any response type.
Refer to the ZONE TYPE DEFINITIONS section for
definitions of each zone type.
Zone Types are as follows:
00 Assign For Unused Zones
01 Entry/Exit #1, Burglary
02 Entry/Exit #2, Burglary
03 Perimeter, Burglary
04 Interior Follower, Burglary
05 Trouble By Day/Alarm By Night
06 24 Hour Silent Alarm
07 24 Hour Audible Alarm
08 24 Hour Auxiliary
09 Fire Without Verification 10 Interior w/Delay
16 Fire With Verification
17 Fire Waterflow
18 Fire Supervisory
19 24 Hour Trouble
20 Arm-Stay (5800 RF only))
21 Arm-Away (5800 RF only)
22 Disarm (5800 RF only)
23 No Alarm Response (Used for
Relay Activation)
002 Partition
Enter the partition number (1 -8) you are assigning
this zone to. Press

002 Report Code
Enter the report code for this zone. (This screen will
appear once for the first digit, once for the second,
and a third time to review a summary of both digits.)
009 Bell/Rly Sel
Each zone can be assigned to activate either one or
both bell outputs and/or the system's auxiliary relay.
Enter one of the following assignments:
0=none; 1=Bell 1; 2=Bell 2; 3=Bells 1 & 2; 4=Aux
Relay; 5=Bell 1 & Aux Relay; 6=Bell 2 & Aux Relay;
7=Bells 1 & 2 & Aux Relay. Press

002 Input Type
Hardwired HW Enter the input device type as follows:
0 = not used; 1=hardwired

The summary screen is displayed.
Press

to display the "ENTER ZN NO?" prompt
for programming the next hardwired zone.
After all zones have been programmed, enter 000 at
this prompt and press

. This will exit out of
Menumode programming and return to normal (data
field) programming mode.
