Port Security Panel
The settings for each of the port security parameters will only be applied
as part of the configuration template if the associated checkbox is
checked. In addition the
Port Security
feature places restrictions on the
values which can be set for the following parameters.

Intrusion Action
The action to be taken by the device when an
unauthorized attempt is made to access the network
through the port can be:
no action, disable port, or disable
port temporarily (20 seconds)
. The value for this parameter
can only be set when the secure mode is set to a value
other than

.
Number of
Authorized
Addresses
The number of addresses that are authorized to access the
network through this port must be in the range 1-5. The
value for this parameter can only be set when the secure
mode is set to either
automatic-learning
or
continuous
learning.
