The system information parameters will only be applied as part of the
configuration template if the associated checkboxes are checked.
To specify a string for the system name parameter choose Custom from
the associated drop down list and enter the text into the field that
becomes enabled. Alternatively, the system name parameter can be
chosen to match the DNS name of each device, or to match the name
currently shown in the map for each device. The strings to use for the
location and contact parameters must be explicitly specified. The
System
Information feature limits the length of any strings entered to a maximum
of 30 characters.
Configuring Trap Destinations
The Trap Destination feature allows the user to configure the list of
destination addresses that the devices will send traps to whenever an
important event occurs.
