Showing Thresholds
The
Display Options
section, which is displayed on the right-hand side
when the
Data to Graph
section is displayed, contains two options for
controlling the display of the graphs:
Show threshold for…
and
Show
plot points
.
The
Show threshold for…
option, when enabled, works in an identical
manner to the
Display thresholds
option for the
Live Graphs
window. See
“Displaying Thresholds”
on
page 283
for more information. However,
when it is disabled the horizontal dashed threshold lines are not displayed
even if the highest value in the monitor’s history exceeds a threshold
value, although the monitor’s graph line is still colored green, yellow or
red as appropriate.
Note that with this option enabled, any component values the monitor
may have will be automatically disabled, to avoid confusion in the data
being presented. The monitor's thresholds only apply to the main
monitored value, not to the individual component values. De-selecting
the option will re-enable any component values which were automatically
disabled.
