Table 18: Display only fields

Field/LED name

Description

Oil pump drive command frequency Indicates the VSOP Drive Command Frequency, 0 Hz to 60 Hz.
Vane motor switch (LED) (open/

closed)

Lights when the compressor vanes are in the fully closed position. When Off, indicates

open.

Compressor status

Displays whether compressor has been selected as the lead or Lag compressor. The

lead compressor is selected upon receipt of a start signal. The compressor that has the

least amount of run time that is ready to run is selected as the lead compressor.

% Full load amps

Displays compressor motor current as a percentage of Full Load Amps of the

compressor motor.

PRV opening (LED)

Lights when an open command is being applied to the Pre-Rotation Vanes.

PRV closing (LED)

Lights when an close command is being applied to the Pre-Rotation Vanes.

PRV position

Displays the position (0% to 100%) of the pre-rotation vanes.

PRV command

Displays the position command (0% to 100%) for the pre-rotation vanes.

Discharge valve close command

(LED)

Lights when a close command is being applied to the compressor Discharge Valve.

Discharge valve open command

(LED)

Lights when an open command is being applied to the compressor Discharge Valve.

Discharge valve

Indicates the status of the compressor Discharge Valve as closing, closed, opening or

opened.

High pressure switch

Indicates the status of the compressor High Pressure Switch (open or closed).

Programmable

Software does not allow manual Pre-rotation Vanes control on a shutdown compressor while the

other compressor is running. This helps minimize rotation of this compressor if its Discharge Valve

is not fully sealed.

Only displayed if the compressor is stopped. This key puts the compressor Discharge

Valve in manual or automatic operation. When in manual operation, this key is used to

manually open or close the valve.

VGD

Only displayed if VGD feature enabled on Operations Screen. Displays the subscreen

for viewing and programming of the Variable Geometry Diffuser (VGD) feature for the

Proximity probe calibrate

Only available if chiller is stopped. Displays the subscreen that allows calibration of the

High Speed Thrust Bearing Proximity Probe for the compressor.

PRV calibrate

Only available if the chiller is stopped. Displays the subscreen that allows calibration

and manual control of the Pre-rotation Vanes for the compressor.

Capacity control

Displays the Capacity Control screen.
