This Manual is intended for drivers and motor transport workers who are in-

volved in operation of URAL trucks. Specifications of the trucks, brief description of 

their  components  and  assembly  units  with  illustrations,  operating  requirements,  a 
list of maintenance operations and reference data are given in the Manual. 

In  connection  with  continuous  work  relating  to  improvement  of  the  product, 

which  increases  their  reliability  and  improves  its  operating  conditions,  particular 

alterations, which are not highlighted in this edition, can be introduced in the de-
sign. 

When using the trucks, this Operation Manual and the Manual for the power 

unit manufactured by Yaroslavl Motor Works, technical description and “Air Heat-
er” Installation Manual should be applied.
