Lubricate the power
unit in conformity with

Lubricate the ad-
justing lever shaft of park-
ing brake (see the Lubrica-
tion Chart)
When
turning
the
parking brake adjusting lev-
er, the shoes should go
apart without seizure, and
return back under the action
of springs
Drop oiler
Remove
service
brake shoes, clean and
lubricate axles and bush-
ings of brake shoes (see the
Lubrication Chart)
The
service
brake
shoes should rotate freely
about their axle
Screwdriver, hammer,
pliers, tire iron, wiping
material
Dismantle
wheel
hubs, remove aged lubri-
cant and pack the fresh
one. Wash, lubricate and
adjust hub bearings
when reassembling (see
Section “Driving Axles” and
the Lubrication Chart)
Apply grease onto the
bearing rollers and cage
evenly over the entire outer
surface. Bearings being ad-
justed correctly, after a short
run the hub should be cold,
or slightly heated

Disassemble and lu-
bricate splined joints of
front and rear axle drive
cardan shafts (see the Lu-
brication Chart)
Apply lubricant in thin
layer over the entire surface
of the splines. When reas-
sembling, see that the ar-
rows stamped on the tube
shaft and sliding fork lie one
opposite the other
Wrenches 17x19, 22x24,
vessel for lubricant, wiping
material
Lubricate the hinges
of steering rods and the
booster (see the Lubrica-
tion Chart)
Gun grease until rod
end protective coupling starts
to expand. The hinges should
be tight

Change lubricant in:
- steering knuckle
housings of front driving
axle (see the Lubrication
Chart);
Fill lubricant up to the
inspection hole edge
