Mind, that the rectifying unit diodes in good working order conduct current in

one direction only, consequently, the lamp is on, only if the diodes are connected in

the conducting direction. If the pilot lamp is switched on in both directions and in
both cases it goes ON or OFF, it means that the rectifying unit diodes are faulty. If

any fault of diodes is discovered, replace the rectifying unit.

Do not test the rectifying unit connected to:

- a voltage source of more than 24 V;
- an a.c. source.
