Parametric

Note

Both parametric and graphic EQs may be set up for all or specific channels

using the Vista Configuration Editor. Since the graphic EQ uses up all Viston-

ics controls, there is a channel-related EQ view only, refer to

chapter 3.4.1.2.

The two views shown below enable the user to control the

most important

parameters of the parametric EQ section. The

complete

parameter set is avail-

able on the channel-related EQ view, refer to

chapter 3.4.1.1

. There you will

also find all parameter details.

All four bands of the parametric EQ section can be activated

simultaneously

with the

hardware key in the

CHANNEL PROCESSING

section, in addition

to the

individual

on/off keys described below.

There are two different views for the parametric EQ view; one of them

(below left) is displayed when pressing the

hardware key, and the other

one (below right) when pressing



(Shift) before the

key.

For 5.1 surround channels the parametric equalizer settings are valid for all

surround signal legs

except the LFE
