Synergy 1 and Synergy 100 Maintenance Guide (v16-S1)

3. Access the Aspectizer Upgrade software as follows:

•

Insert the floppy disk containing the Aspectizer Upgrade software into the floppy 
disk drive of the Synergy switcher.

OR

•

Insert the USB key containing the Aspectizer Upgrade software into the USB port 
of the Synergy switcher.You must wait 5 seconds after inserting the USB key into 
the USB port before you can access the Aspectizer upgrade software.

Dual Aspectizer Board

Aspectizer Setup

” in the 

Synergy 1 Installation Guide

 to set up the Aspectizer for operation.

Note

As the upgrade process takes approximately ten minutes, you may 
choose to update at a later time. Press 

HOME

 to return to the main 

Synergy menu without performing the upgrade. However, the message 
displayed will remain on the Main Menu until the upgrade has been 
performed.

Note

You must have the 

USB Removable Media Drive

 option installed in 

order to upgrade the Aspectizer with a USB key.
