VERIFIER
The use of pressure plates is always recommended if stickers or films are to be pressed flush to the
underlay, because the sticker material can otherwise become creased.
These are essential if codes are to be measured on round surfaces (e.g. bottles, cans. etc.). They
are also necessary if bar codes are to be measured in areas or on articles with a surface that is too
small to apply the device.
ATTENTION: The pressure plates must be removed with adjustment and calibration
5.3 Measuring bar codes for the first time
In order to measure bar codes, the REA ScanCheck 3n
must be calibrated (refer also to chapter 4
“Adjustment and calibration”).
After switching on the REA ScanCheck 3n, the system requires approx. 15 seconds to initialise the
programs. Only then does the main screen appear, with the
following information:
Name of the verifier:

Version of the operating program (GUI):
