Enter the desired value in days in the field. This pertains to the adjustment date and the date of the
internal real-
time clock. Once this period has passed, the message “Adjustment data invalid” is
displayed with each measurement.
Every test report contains a corresponding warning note. In order to
eliminate this warning note, either imp
lement the setting “Do not check”
or perform the adjustment and calibration process.
The setting is accepted with the <STORE> button, or navigate to <OK> and the <OK ENTER>
button (ESC cancels the process).
Selecting whether
“a normal user can calibrate and adjust the device” or not only has an effect if
the user management or password protection of the REA ScanCheck 3n is switched on. The
administrator is able to specify with this, whether adjustment can be performed without
administrator rights.
Before proceeding with adjustment, it is necessary to enter the values from the calibration card.
Each card has been individually gauged. Each card therefore has its own values. The values are
similar but not identical. The adjustment and calibration card shown above bears a sticker with the
values.
With older cards, only the reflection
factor is cited on the card. In this case,
the mean value and the dark value must
be read off the stamped reference test
report.
Reflection factor light value (70 ... 95).
The corresponding value from the calibration and adjustment card is
entered in this field (here: 82).
Reflection factor dark value (1 … 50)
The corresponding value from the calibration and adjustment card is
entered in this field (here: 1%)
On the reference test report, this value is “Rmin”.
