5.6.1.3.4.2 Device configure <2> Output parameters
In these two setting windows it is possible to select and activate the specifications for the printed
output and storage of the measurement results. As also described in the screen display, these
functions are deactivated with a TransWin32 connection.
The
“
use auto-print
”
function can be helpful if measurements should
always be logged on a mobile basis and with the connected printer
TD-GPT-U immediately after a measurement. Using
long
and
short
it is possible to determine whether the long or short versions should
be printed out.
Select output printing device
Here, the user determines the medium for the data output, the
thermal printer TD-GPT-U or the REA TransWin32 software program.
Save options
Storage can take place either
automatically after each measurement (all measurements are
stored in this case! It should be noted here, that the number of
measurement reports that can be stored is limited and
depends on the available storage space.)

or only after manual storage via the
<Store> button

Saving can either take place to the SD memory card permanently installed in the ScanCheck 3n, or
to a USB memory stick connected via the USB interface.
On the
second sub-menu screen
it is possible to select how the file
name is configured and how an order number should be specified.
Use order number
stipulates that the text from the data field below
should be
used
in the file names for an individual
order number
with
all subsequent measurements. If a corresponding number is then
entered in the
order number
field, this initially appears just as long on
the test reports until it is changed. The same applies to the
user
comment
. Free text can be entered for both fields.
The field
use own
file name definition
displays the factory pre-setting
for the format of the file name assignment. However, it is also possible
to insert further information.

– Current system time

– Sequential number of measurement
%#o
– Contents of the text field order number
The text
SC3_
is free and can be changed at any time.
The current system date and number are already included in the current file name definition and
should not be changed.
Attention: No special characters or accents should be used for file names.
