Identifying verification reports
Entry of the job number makes it easy to identify the verification reports. The job
number is entered under Configure -> Job number or by using the icon from the
application's toolbar. In the Configure -> Options setting, can be specified if the
system should query the user after each measurement automatically. This is to
prevent a situation where entry is forgotten for a new measurement.
Under Configure -> Options -> Save, is a setting which enables that the job number
entered is automatically added on to the verification report filename as a prefix and
thus appears in the filename itself. This function applies to both manual and automatic
file saving. In addition, there is a setting to enable that each job number creates a
new subfolder with the same name as the job, which is used to store the verification
reports.
If a verification report is converted to a PDF document by using a PDF writer, then the
file name generated in this way (including automatic numbering and date) will be
passed to the PDF program. Accordingly, the consistent use of the job number means
manual entry of filenames is unnecessary when saving and creating PDF documents.
The saving of verification reports as PDF files can be configured to work without
requiring user dialogs. This function requires a third-party PDF writer program that
can be preconfigured to support this kind of setup. In this case, verification reports
are always available as PDF files without any action required from routine users.
From Version 1.0.20.1/13914r onwards, there is also the option of including parts of
the code content in the filename. To do so, the menu Configure -> Options -> Save,
allows to specify which parts of the code should appear in the filename. The number
of the first character is specified together with the number of characters. Counting of
the first character can start from left or right side.

User comments
If user comments have been entered for the measurements, these can be viewed
under the
"User comment"
tab in the window on the right of the screen. These
comments are also shown in the print display and the verification report.
Presets for comments are configured using Configure -> Other -> Comments. The
presets are applied to all verification reports. The Edit menu can be used to edit
comments after the measurement (if comments have been edited the report needs to
be saved again).
