Changing the height of the 1D
measurement area
The measurement area height is changed to
match the height of the measurement area to the
code height. The <5> and <8> keys are used to
increase and decrease the size of the
measurement area, respectively. The figure
illustrates these two user controls by
superimposing the keys. The arrow keys
(up/down) are used to change the position of the
red line.
7.13.2
Changing the size of the 2D measurement
area
The measurement area for 2D matrix codes is specified
with the blue frame. The frame can be repositioned by
using the 4 arrow keys.
The <4> key makes the frame wider.
The <7> key makes the frame narrower.
The <5> key makes the frame taller.
The <8> key makes the frame shorter.
The <6> key rotates the frame to the right.
The <9> key rotates the frame to the left.
If the <4>, <5>, <8> and <7> keys do not respond as described, then
the measurement area has been rotated with the 6 and 9 keys.
The handling instructions given in section 5 shall be observed to achieve
correct measurements.
