Tire pressure speed warning
If the tire pressure drops below a critical tire
pressure, a warning message is displayed on the
multifunction display.
Teaching in the tire pressure monitoring
system
After the tires have been changed, the wheel sensor
has been replaced, or the tire settings have been
updated, the tire pressure monitoring system infor-
mation about the tires starts to be taught-in. The tire
pressure control system recognizes the wheels and
their installation position. The position and pressure
data is available as soon as the tire pressure
monitoring system has assigned the recognized
wheels to the correct wheel position.
During the learning process, the required pressures
for cold tires (68 °F/20 °C) are displayed in the fill
info display and the message
No monitoring of tire

ment panel stays lit until all the wheels have been
taught-in.

Selecting “Circular path” in the TPMS menu

For driving on a race circuit, you can set and monitor
pressures different to those used for road mode.
Race circuit mode is
not designed for driving on
public roads.
This gives the experienced driver the option of
customising tire pressure to suit race circuits, for
optimum handling.
The current actual pressures are displayed.

Set the desired actual pressures for the race
circuit at the wheel.
WARNING
Speed too High when
Comfort Pressure is set
Excessive speed when comfort pressure is set
damages the tires and wheels.

Reduce speed to below the displayed maximum
speed.

For higher speeds, fill the tires to the standard
inflation pressure.

WARNING
Low Tire Pressure
The driver remains responsible when driving, e.g.
setting tire pressures for driving on race circuits,
regardless of Tire Pressure Monitoring.

Adjust the required pressures to suit the
maximum intended driving speeds.
Take into account the warning thresholds which
trigger a tire pressure warning.

The desired actual pressures must not be less
than 26 psi (1.8 bar) on each wheel.

Information
If the tire pressure falls below minimum pressure, the
message
Note min. pressure 26 psi (1.8 bar) appears
and the new pressures are not applied. If this is the
case, the required tire pressures must be set again.
