Upshifting with selector lever or right “+” gearshift

Pull back the selector lever or right gearshift

Downshifting with selector lever or left “-” gearshift

Rapid gearshifting by pressing the selector lever or
gearshift paddle several times in succession
You can shift up or down by the relevant number of
gears by rapidly operating the gearshift paddles or
the selector lever several times in succession.
Gearshifts that would exceed the upper or lower
engine speed limit are not executed.
Shift to N – Neutral using the gearshift paddles

Pull and hold both gearshift paddles to the
steering wheel simultaneously.
The transmission shifts to
N – Neutral.
The vehicle rolls with the engine disengaged
and at idle speed without engine-braking effect.
The number in the gear indicator flashes.
Releasing the gearshift paddles engages a gear
again.

The fuel economy-oriented upshift indicator A helps
you to develop a fuel-saving driving style.
Depending on the selected gear, engine speed and
accelerator pedal position, the upshift indicator lights
up, prompting you to shift to a higher gear.

Shift to the next-higher gear when the upshift
indicator lights up.
Information
– The clutch is engaged gradually if Porsche
Stability Management (PSM) is switched on.
– The clutch is engaged more abruptly if Electronic
Stability Control (ESC) and/or Traction Control
(TC) is switched off.
This can result in an unstable driving state.
