Depending on the equipment, a special smartphone
tray is installed in the center console.
It provides a connection to the vehicles external
antenna and features an USB connection (type A) for
loading the mobile phone and connecting it to the
PCM.
In the case of a mobile phone connected via
Bluetooth®, the use of the external antenna ensures
lower radiation levels in the vehicle and better recep-
tion quality.

Place the mobile phone with the display facing
upward centrally onto the phone symbol in the
smartphone tray. Ensure that there are no objects
between the tray and the mobile phone.
Charging mobile phone

Connect the mobile phone to USB connection A
(type A) with a USB charging cable.
Changing settings
Settings available during a phone call (private
mode)

Mobile phone is connected via Bluetooth® and
supports the function.

The call is established.
– Activate private mode: The hands-free facility
transfers the call to the mobile phone.
Changing phone settings
– Switch on/off PCM phone: Switches the phone
module in the PCM off/on.
– Enable internal SIM card for calls : Use SIM card
for calls (otherwise data services only)
– Network operator search: Select network
provider or activate automatic network provider
search.
– SIM card: Change the settings on the inserted
SIM card.
– Voicemail number: Display or modify the voice-
mail number of the connected mobile phone.
– Serial number: Display the IMEI serial number of
the PCM telephone module.
Manage Bluetooth
®
functions and devices
– Add new device: Search for new Bluetooth®
device and teach to PCM.
– Bluetooth devices: Manage known
Bluetooth®devices, connect PCM with known
Bluetooth® device.

– Activate/deactivate Bluetooth: Switch
Bluetooth® function off or on.
– Note: Don’t forget your phone: Activates a
reminder for a connected Bluetooth® device on
leaving the vehicle.
– Bluetooth name: Set the Bluetooth® name of the
PCM.
Information
It is recommended that the keyboard/code lock be
activated before placing the mobile phone in the tray.
