The vehicle key audibly unlocks.
7. Remove vehicle key at initial position 0 .
8. Re-fit the plastic cover B .
Ordering a replacement key and
keeping in a safe place
Vehicle keys can only be ordered from an authorized
Porsche dealer. Sometimes, this may take a long
time.
e
For this reason, always have a replacement key
available.
e
Keep the replacement key in a safe place, but
under no circumstances in or on the vehicle.
To teach new vehicle keys for the vehicle:
e
Visit an authorized Porsche dealer, as they have
trained technicians and the necessary parts and
tools.
e
Teach all vehicle keys belonging to the vehicle
again.

A total of eight vehicle keys can be taught.

e
If a vehicle key is lost or stolen, have an authorized
Porsche dealer disable this vehicle key in the
vehicle and change the mechanical locks if neces-
sary.
e
You should notify your insurance company of the
loss or theft of vehicle keys or of the production of
additional or replacement keys.
