Datafilling ACD MIS Translations
This section describes the data tables that must be datafilled for the ACD MIS data link to be activated in
a DMS-100. Table 4.3 lists the data tables in the order they must be datafilled, the Northern Telecom
Practice (NTP) associated with each table, the associated section numbers and the required forms.

Guidelines For Datafilling
The hardware and software used by an ACD MIS data link imposes restrictions on how the data link can
be configured and datafilled. This section describes the restrictions that apply specifically to an ACD
MIS data link.
For further information about restrictions and limitations that apply to a specific data table, refer to NTP
Common Customer Data Schema, 297-1001-451.
4.2.3.2
Multi-Protocol Controller (MPC)
An NT1X89AA MPC circuit pack provides the interface for an ACD MIS data link to the DMS-100.
Although an ACD MIS data link requires only one MPC, a second MPC in a separate IOC is
recommended to provide a backup in case of a fault in either the primary MPC circuit pack or the
primary IOC.

Datafill Primary & Redundant MPCs
If two MPCs are provisioned for each ACD MIS data link, ensure that both MPC circuit packs and their
associated links are datafilled correctly in Tables

Number Of Ports Available
Because each MPC has two ports for use by ACD MIS data links, two separate ACD MIS applications
can interface to the DMS-100 through each MPC circuit pack.
