Load Management Message (DMS-100)
A message is broadcast to all VU-ACD/100 terminals when a Load Management macro is executed. The
message confirms that the macro ran and identifies the number of commands accepted and rejected by
the DMS-100. Failure messages related to the macro are recorded in the System Log.

ACD MIS Shut Down
A warning message appears on the Real-Time Display of all terminals when a shutdown of the ACD MIS
has been initiated. When the ACD MIS and UNIX (SCO OpenServer) are shut down from the Adminis-
tration Menu, the administrator may specify a delay interval of one to five minutes. The following
message appears on VU-ACD/100 terminals at the Real-Time Display:
Warning: ACD MIS processes being halted in X minute(s)
If the ACD MIS or ACD MIS & UNIX are shut down from the Maintenance Menu, the shutdown is
initiated without delay and the following message appears on VU-ACD/100 terminals at the Real-Time
Display:
ACD MIS is being shut down for maintenance
Users should log off the system. Data collection ceases after shutdown. No further operations can be
performed without restarting the system.
