VU-ACD™/100 Maintenance Guide – Host/DOS

Troubleshooting

❏

Use Program Info from the Menu Bar to check the security device for appropriate licensing
of agents and options.

❏

If the problem is with report data, check the Data Management Log and verify that archive
has run for each of the periods in question.

❏

Check Link Log to be sure messages are being received from the switch, server and/or other
ACD MIS hosts.

❏

If DMS-100 Load Management is not working, check to be sure that the subpool password
on the switch matches the subpool password entered for the PAD configuration.

❏

If Recent Change/Verify is not working, check to be sure that the Terminal Group ID
(TGID) and ACD Group ID assigned to the MIS matches that programmed in the AIU

.

The VU-ACD/100 assigned 5ESS switch name must also
match that of the switch supplying MIS event data.

4.1.3

Problem Resolution

The information contained in Table 4.1 provides symptoms and solutions by category, to assist your
troubleshooting efforts.  Although comprehensive, this table does not provide every possible symptom or
solution.  Its intent is to help identify the most common failures known to occur within each category.
