22.DHCP Relay Commands
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is a function to obtain an IP
address from the DHCP server when the client is booted. In general, a series
of packets to obtain an IP address is broadcasted. For this reason, the client
and DHCP server must be on the same network. DHCP Relay is a function to
transfer DHCP packets to a DHCP server on a different network. This does
no longer require a DHCP server installed for each network, making it easier
for you to manage the DHCP server.

option 82
This is a function to add the Switching Hub's MAC address and the client's connection port
number to packets when relaying the DHCP packets. A DHCP server supporting option 82
can use option 82 information to apply the policy required to assign an IP address. Original
option 82 information is also added to return packets from the DHCP server, so that the
packets to the client are transferred to the destination port instead of being broadcasted.
