Commands
Sending data simultaneously to multiple destinations is called "multicast"
and used for music and video distribution.
PIM (Protocol Independent Multicast routing) is one of multicast routing
protocols. It uses unicast routing such as existing RIP or OSPF to control
multicast route selection.
This Switching Hub supports the following four PIM types.
 PIM-DM（Dense Mode）
It identifies adjacent routers by flooding multicast packets in a VLAN. This is effective when
clients are packed in one VLAN.
 PIM-SM（Sparse Mode）
It uses a distribution tree combining source and shared trees. A router that is a contact
between source and shared trees is called RP (Rendezvous Point). It can learn client
locations and distribute multicast packets only to routes on which clients exist.
RP is normally configured manually but can also be configured automatically using a BSR
(Bootstrap Router).
 PIM-SM-DM（Sparse-Dense Mode）
It is a distribution method combining PIM-DM and PIM-SM. Use PIM-SM if the RP address
is configured and use PIM-DM if the RP address is unknown in a multicast group.
 PIM-SSM（PIM Source Specific multicast）
It is an advanced PIM-SM function. This provides more efficient distribution by bypassing
RP when distributing to IGMPv3 (INCLUDE mode) clients.
