Remote control
Note!
The wireless remote control system (remote control console,
receiver) complies with the applicable EMV directive. So the unit will
as far as possible not interfere with other systems or get interfered by
them at the place of application.
General
All safety regulations included in the operating instructions of the crane must be observed.
Crane control systems
Safety features serve to protect the operator, so it is not allowed to manipulate or inactivate them.
Guarantee and warranty immediately expire when any manipulations to the radio remote control
system (remote control console and receiver) become obvious.
Components of the remote control
Only original PALFINGER components must be used to operate the remote control system.
Guidelines to prevent dangers
x
Before starting the remote control console make sure that any operating lever is not actuated.
x Check the remote control console for proper functioning before starting work (refer to 'Preparing
for remote operation' in chapter 7).
x Use the handset only with the original carrying strap.
Warning!
If when controlling the crane via the remote control console the
original carrying strap is not used, consistent and precise crane
movements are not possible. There is an acute danger of accident!
x
In the event of danger operate the emergency cut-off button.
x Have defective components (remote control console, receiver, accessories) immediately repaired
or replaced at a PALFINGER service partner.
x Immediately stop crane operation in the event of any malfunctions.
x
Always fully charge the battery.
x Do not operate any crane functions while attaching and detaching loads.
x The position of the operator must always be outside the danger zone of the crane.
x
The operator must have full view of the crane movements and the working range.
