Chapter 8 Crane operation

Danger!
The remote control's emergency cut-off button stops the SRC, but
does not deactivate it! There is an acute risk of crushing and therefore
a risk of injury!
Please note
The following is required for perfect control:
x
The sensor controlled rope pulley must rotate smoothly.
x The rope must contact the pulley and must not slip over the edges.
x In case of multiple-strand operation the rope must run over the sensor monitored pulley.
x
In order to prevent the rope from oscillating, all intermediate pulleys must be mounted.
Control function gets disabled in the below situations and reactivated afterwards:
x
While working with the pulley head pointing vertically downwards, so that the rope may no longer
contact the pulley.
x When the rope winch is in traversing winch mode.
x
When the crane is in remote controlled support mode.
Danger!
Never operate the remote handset while manipulating on the pulley
head! (label on the pulley head)
There is an acute risk of crushing and therefore a risk of injury!
Before manipulating the winch system, absolutely turn off the remote control.
