Paltronic 150 safety equipment standard
SHPLS (super high power lifting system)
Purpose:
The SHPLS is always integrated and enabled in the Paltronic 150. SHPLS reduces the crane’s working
speed when the crane load is very high and thus limits dynamic stress. The system gets continuously
switched on as force is required. The current capacity utilization of the crane is shown on the Paltronic
150 display unit.
Function:
SHPLS knows the current boom positions and the current capacity utilization of the crane. Before an
overload situation occurs (load limit default programmed) and before approaching a programmed
movement range (for examples the cylinder’s end positions) one or several crane movements get
smoothly slowed down until the limit is reached. If several crane functions are operated simultaneously,
slowing down starts earlier than when only one crane function is working.
On reaching a load limit, the crane switches into the relevant overload.
All possible movements are indicated by arrows.
Movements that may be blocked:
x All movements that increase the load moment;
x
All movements that reduce stability (with reduced load limits);
x All movements that can cause static overloading of a component.
The current overload situation is displayed on the Paltronic 150 display unit on the crane and/or the
remote control handset.
