Emergency control during basket operation
Lowering the boom in an emergency
Failure of PTO / working hydraulics
Warning!
The emergency mode is used exclusively to lower the basket and fold
the crane in transport position. After switching to emergency mode
any work with the workman basket must be discontinued, otherwise
the emergency system will fail.
x
Remove the seal (1) on the operating panel. Open the cover (2). Switch to position (3).
Emergency unit starts.
x Open the ball valve of the automatic leveling system, so that the basket can be lowered by leveling
through gravity (see operating instructions of workman basket).
x
As it is lowered, people in the workman basket must remain crouched.
x Carefully lower the basket and slowly put it down on even ground, so that the people may exit it
safely.
x The crane may still be folded in transport position.
