To check the amount of available memory of a miniSD memory card and the amount of saved data on the card, see
“Using the function menu in the Categories display” (P. 403). Note that total of the displayed amounts of available
space and saved data will be less than the capacity stated on the miniSD memory card itself.
• If there is insufficient space left on the miniSD memory card when you attempt to export phonebook entries, own
number, schedule entries, ToDo list entries, text memos, mail or bookmarks, a message appears saying that data
cannot be transferred due to lack of space. In the case of still images and movies, “Export” on the function menu is
grayed out. When this occurs, insert another miniSD memory card or delete some unwanted data on the card and
copy the data again.
• When you reach the limit on the number of files in the folders to which the files are to be exported, the following
occurs:
• If you are exporting still images, movies or i-motion, a new folder is automatically created and the files are saved
in that folder.
• If you are exporting data such as phonebook entries to SD_PIM, a message appears saying that the limit has
been reached and no further data can be exported to the miniSD memory card.
• Once a miniSD memory card is full, you cannot perform tasks such as adding more folders for still images or
movies, editing titles or copying or moving files. Delete some unwanted data and then try again.
Exporting and importing data
You can export (copy) the data stored on the FOMA terminal to a miniSD memory card and import (copy) data from
a miniSD memory card to the FOMA terminal. You can also overwrite data on the FOMA terminal with data from a
miniSD memory card.
