Exporting FOMA terminal movies to a miniSD memory card
Use this procedure to export (copy) movies stored in the i-motion Inbox folder, Camera folder and user-created
folders to a miniSD memory card.
● The exported movies are saved in the folder selected in “Select storage” (P. 408).
●
You cannot export movies for which file restriction is set.

“Export”.
Start exporting to the miniSD memory card.
The exporting to the miniSD memory card may takes time depending upon the amount of data. Do not remove the miniSD
memory card until export is completed.
Importing miniSD memory card movies to the FOMA terminal
Use this procedure to import (copy) movies stored on a miniSD memory card to your FOMA terminal.
● The imported movies are saved in the Inbox folder under i-motion.

“Import”.
Importing starts.
Depending on the size of the movie, importing may take some time. Do not remove the miniSD memory card until
importing is completed.
Note
● If you delete the movie that has been set to a playlist, the playlist is released.
Note
●
Do not remove the miniSD memory card during data exporting.
●
When the specified destination folder is full, a new folder is automatically created and movies are saved in the new folder.
●
File names for exported movies are assigned as described below.
・
File name: MOLxxx (xxx = 001-FFF : hexadecimal notation)
●
You cannot export movies in the following situations:
・
When it is prohibited to output the movies to devices from a FOMA terminal
・
When the movies of Chara-den with “Rec. file restriction”
・
When there is insufficient space available on the miniSD memory card
・
When miniSD memory card insertion processing is in progress
・
When an error occurs on the miniSD memory card
・
When the miniSD memory card is not compatible to the FOMA terminal
Note
● Do not remove the miniSD memory card during data importing.
● You cannot import movies in the following situations:
・ When a movie format is other than MP4
・ When a movie is MP4 format but cannot be played
* You may be unable to import some movies even when none of the above is applied.
● A movie larger than 800 KB is trimmed to 800 KB or less. However, a movie of which voice codec is ACC larger than 800 KB cannot be imported.
● Titles for imported movies are assigned as described below.
・ Titles set on the miniSD memory card
・ If no title is set on the miniSD memory card, the file name is used as the title
