 ppli from i-mode sites or Internet websites, you can make your i-mode-compliant FOMA 

terminal(i-mode terminal) even easier to use. For example, you can download a range of games to an i-mode 
terminal and play them or download an i-

 ppli that provides stock market information and allows you to 

automatically check stock prices at set intervals. There is also a mapping i-

α

 ppli that allow you to download only the 

information you need so that scrolling is quick and smooth. There are other i-

 ppli programs that enable you to 

store data from the i-

 ppli directly into the phonebook or your schedule and i-

 ppli DX, the information on the i-mode terminal (such as mail, Dialed/Received call records and phonebook 

data) is used by the software to make i-

 ppli even more enjoyable and easier to use. This includes features such as 

composing mail in your favorite cartoon character display, having a cartoon character tell you who an incoming call 
or message is from, and linking with mail functions to provide real time updates on the progress of games or essential 
information such as share prices.

An i-

 ppli DX software can browse, store and use not only the stored data used by ordinary i-

 ppli (phonebook 

entries, bookmarks, schedules, images and icon information), but also information such as mail, redial records,
