LOADING
message in the help/error bar at the bottom of the screen,
during which time the software parses the
GPIB410.PAT
file and
builds the pattern buffer in memory. When this operation completes,
the
LOADING
indicator is erased and the pattern generation sequence
begins.
In rapid succession, you will hear three beeps, possibly accompanied
by a brief flurry of activity on the GPIB monitor indicators. The first
beep signals the detection of the trigger pattern on the GPIB, and you
may also notice the
TRG
indicator change to read
CAP
. Immediately
following, you hear a second beep which signals the completion of the
capture operation and the
CAP
indicator disappears. Finally, a third
beep indicates that the pattern buffer is successfully output.
When you are ready to continue, press <Alt-G> to start the Pattern
Generator.

When all of the operations are complete and the status indicators are
turned off, press <F5> to select the Capture Display screen and view
the captured data. The results should look similar to Figure A-8.
