Using the Search Utility
Press function key <F10> to display the search pattern definition
window, shown in FIgure 4-5.

Use the pattern definition field to specify a 16-bit pattern for which you
want the GPIB-410 to search for in the capture buffer. The ordering of
the signal lines in the pattern is identical to that shown in the Monitor
window.
Construct the search pattern by pressing the indicated letter keys to
select a
0
,
1
, or
x
("don't care") condition for each bit position of a
captured status. The topmost row of letters on the keyboard manipulates
the data portion of the pattern and the next row of letters manipulates
the control portion. Use the Insert key (<Ins>) to place a single 8-bit
ASCII or 2-digit hexadecimal value directly into the data portion of the
pattern.
