■ [SWEEP RESOLUTION]
: Set the sweep resolution.
This sets the resolution of the sweep frequency. The number of data points obtained in a sweep
measurement is the resolution value set here +1.

The setting range is from 3 to 20,000 and the resolution is 1. It is possible to select between linear
sweep (common difference) and log sweep (common ratio).

: Set the entered value as the log sweep resolution.
• [Lin steps/sweep]
: Set the entered value as the linear sweep resolution.
■ [REPEAT]
: Set the repeat mode.
If repeat is on, the measurement is repeated. For sweep measurement, the sweep measurement is started
again at the initial frequency. The measurement is repeated until the
STOP
key is pressed. If repeat is off,
the measurement is performed one time and then stopped.

■ [FREQUENCY CHANGE MODE]
: Set the frequency change phase.
This selects whether to change the frequency immediately or to wait until the 0° phase of a sine function
to change the frequency. When performing electrochemical impedance measurements, etc., the area of the
plus side and the area of the minus side of an AC sinusoidal signal are the same, so the total charge
transfer to the DUT can be made to be zero.
○ Setting method

• ASYNC
: The frequency is changed instantaneously.
• SYNC
: The frequency is not changed until the 0° phase.
When the setting is
SYNC
, it takes up to one cycle of the signal at the longest until the frequency is
changed (including when a sweep is in progress). Please note that, the maximum length takes up to

seconds (27.8 hours) at the longest for a frequency of 10 µHz.
