R ear F en d er Indicators
W hen the reverse gear is selected,
the rear fe nd er ind icato rs will
extend upw ard from the rear
corners of the fenders.
The rear fender indicators retract
delayed w hen shifting out of re­
verse. They retract im m ediately
when tu rn ing key in steering lock
to position 0.
Note:
N orm ally the vehicle is a c c e le r­
ated to the desired speed with the
a ccelerator.
Speed is set by b riefly pushing the
lever to position 1 or 2. The a ccel­
e rator can be released.
T he speed can be increased (e.g.
for passing) by using the a ccelera ­
tor. As soon as the a ccelera tor is
released, the previously set speed
w ill be resum ed autom atically.
If a set speed is to be increased or
decreased sligh tly, e.g. to adapt to
the traffic flow , hold lever in posi­
tion 1 or 2 until the desired speed
is reached, or briefly tip the control
lever in the app ro priate direction
for increases or decreases in
0.6 m ph (1 k m /h ) increm ents.
W hen the lever is released, the
new ly set speed rem ains.
Before shifting into reverse gear,
ensure that the rear fe nd er
indicators can extend freely.
C ruise Control
A ny given speed above a p p ro x i­
m ately 25 m ph (40 k m /h ) can be
m aintained w ith the cruise control
by operating the lever.
1 A ccelerate and set:
Lift lever b riefly to set speed.
Hold lever up to accelerate.
2 D ecelerate and set:
D epress lever briefly to set
speed.
Hold lever dow n to decelerate.
