Aim tran sm itter eye (2) at a
receiver (3) and press transm it
button (1). D istance to receiver
m ax. 20 ft (6 m).
The red ind icato r lam p on the
receiver should blink. It stops
blin kin g after a pproxim ately
3 seconds w hen the ve hicle is
properly locked.
If a door or the trun k is not prop­
erly closed after you attem pt to
lock the car by rem ote control, the
red ind icato r lam p w ill continue to
b lin k (max. 10 seconds). O pen the
d oor or trunk lid, close it properly,
and lock the car again.
If the vehicle ca nn ot be locked or
unlocked by pressing the transm it
button (1), then it m ay be neces­
sary to change the batteries in the
tran sm itter (if ok, battery indicator
lam p in tran sm itter w ill light briefly
w hen transm itting) or to syn chro ­
nize the system , see Rem ote
