The ind icato r lam p com es on with
the key in steering lock position 2
and goes out w hen the eng in e is
running.
If the ind icato r lam p stays on after
the eng in e is running or com es on
w hile driving, then the system has
detected a m alfunction.
We recom m end that you visit an
authorized M ercedes-B enz dealer
as soon as possible to have the
system checked out.
Note:
If the battery w as d isconnected,
the ind icato r lam p w ill only go out
after the engine is started and the
steering wheel is turned from full
left to full right lock and returned
to the center position.
