• w hen there is insu fficien t brake
fluid in the reservoir (engine
running and parking brake
released)
• w hen the parking brake is set
(engine running).

ing lam p on can resu lt in an
accid en t. H ave yo u r brake
system c h ecked im m ed iately
if th e b rake w arning lam p
stays on. D o n ‘t add brake fluid
b efo re ch e ck in g th e brake
system . O verfilling th e brake
fluid reservo ir can result in
spilling b rake fluid on hot
en g in e parts and th e brake
fluid catching fire. You can be
serio u sly burned.
Warning!
W hen the m inim um m ark on the
reservoir is reached, have the
brake system checked for brake
pad th ickne ss and leaks.
To test the brake w arning lam p,
turn key in steering lock to
position 2. The brake w arning
lam p com es on, and should go out
w hen the engine is running.
