Drive Sensibly - Save Fuel
Fuel co nsu m p tion , to a great extent,
d epends on d riving habits and o p e ra t­
ing conditions.
To save fuel you should:
• keep tires at the recom m ended
inflation pressures,
• rem ove unnecessary loads,
• rem ove ski racks or roof-m ounted
luggage racks w hen not in use,
• a llow engine to w arm up under low
load use,
• avoid frequent a cceleration and
d eceleration,
• have all m aintenance w ork per­
form ed at regular intervals by an
authorized M ercedes-B enz
dealer.
Fuel consu m p tion is also increased
by d riving in cold w eather, in
stop-and-go traffic, on short trips
and in h illy country.
