A basic setting in the w hite field of
the selector is recom m ended.
3 A ir volum e selector
The air volum e can be varied
continuously. The air flow is
sw itched off with selector in
position ” 0 ” .
Top position: a ir flow from air
outlets (5 and 6),
Bottom position: air flow from
a ir outlets beneath fron t seats.
Interm ediate p ositions can be
selected for a m ixed air flow.
Note:
The rear p assenger clim a te c o n ­
trol does not operate w ith auto-
m atic clim a te control in o m ode
or sw itched off w ith button H .
A ctivated C harcoal Filter

An activated charcoal filter m ark­
e dly reduces bad odors and re­
m oves p ollutants from the air e n t­
ering the passenger com partm ent.
W h e n pressing button B 2 fl or

, the filte r is also sw itched off.
Note:
The activated charcoal filter
should be sw itched off when
w ind ow s fog up on the inside, or if
the p assenger com partm ent needs
to be q u ickly heated up or cooled
dow n.
